Well my family is gone and then I got sick (yuck) and now I am back. Did you miss me? Here is Kate. I love her. She is my first niece. Some of these pictures are dying for captions so I'm gonna give 'em.
This one is just how she slept when we put her in.

She might look a little bigger than the average newborn--it's bc she's 6 weeks old, not less than 2 weeks old.

SHE IS SOOOOO CUTE Nikki and Steve! Nice work on that one! Oh, she is just a doll. Her hair! And her eyes! And her bum! Oh dear. She is so so sweet.

Alright I second Cris you need to get more of these adorable babies coming. The world is not ready for the beauty that comes from shafe babies. Kate is adorable and i totally want to squeeze her! Love the pictures! Good job Mare!

I love how in that first pic ont he cushion she's clinging to that cushion for dear life...it's so nikki: "ack! how did i get here, i shouldn't be here, who put me here hang on hang on hang on" kinda expression. which makes me smile and think of nikki (sorry steve!) Mary you do such an amazing job capturing the most precious of precious moments and expressions.

Mare!!! I love love love these pics. I check your blog just about daily because I love your work but this post is my favorite! Baby Kate is so stinkin funny!! You even managed to get all of her squishy rolls in the pictures. Way to go!
