Ashley and Ryan Mourelatos Wedding in Oakland

Ashley and Ryan's wedding was on 07-07-07 and it was a wonderful day for a wedding. They were the first wedding of I think 18 weddings that day, so we had the temple grounds to ourselves for the first hour of pictures. Plus, someone prayed for beautiful overcast weather, so it wasn't hot and we could take pictures wherever we wanted. Ashley and Ryan look so good together and Ashley's dress was gorgeous-I mean gorgeous and it was perfect for her. They were very easy to photograph because they were so happy and in love. After the sealing in Oakland we all went to Alamo, a city about 20 minutes inland from the temple, where it was no longer overcast and the weather changed to very warm--er, hot. Luckily it was inside a beautiful clubhouse with air conditioning. And I was glad that it was so sunny so that I could use as much natural light as possible in the reception, I'm not a fan of flashy-looking photographs. The pictures document the event in reverse, so happy viewing. And a big thanks to Ashley, Ryan, and their families and friends, everyone was so easy to work with and pleasant!
